2016 super bowl 50 crypto betting guide

For this year's Super Bowl please see the odds comparison

Before crypto it was difficult for many Americans to bet on NFL but those days are gone amigos, people from anywhere can get in on the action with crypto!

6 of the last 8 Super Bowls have been decided by a touchdown or less with an average margin of 9 points. I am betting that this run of close Super Bowls will not continue in San Francisco on the 7th of February when this year’s highest scoring team, the Carolina Panthers, take on one of the best quarterbacks of all time from the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.

Super Bowl bet types

There are hundreds of betting markets for the Super Bowl on things you would never think to bet on. As detailed as who will make the first catch or as frivolous as what color Gatorade will be pored over the winning coach’s head.

The 3 most common bet types in NFL are

Moneyline: Betting on who will win the game.
Points spread: Betting on the score after points are added to or subtracted from a team.
Total points: Betting if over or under a number of points will be scored in the game.

The points spread and the total point’s bets have about a 50/50 chance of going either way so they are usually exciting bets right until the end of the game.

I am betting for the winning margin to be more than 6 points. Tell us your bets in the comments!

Where to bet

This year the biggest and most interesting selection of bets are on Nitrogen Sports (review). They are a great sportsbook overall and industry leaders in crypto gambling.

Or you could check the odds comparison and bet with whoever has the best odds for the bet you want to make, although you might like to check their review score as well. Good luck on Sunday!
