The European soccer season is back! Much like the soccer agents over the summer, we know you’re dying to make some money (or in this case crypto), so here are 3 bets to keep an eye on this weekend.

It’s worth noting the kick-off times in the screenshots are in British Summer Time (BST). You can see the kick-off time in your local time by visiting BitOdds.

Brighton to win at odds of 2.64

Burnley v Brighton
English Premier League
Saturday 2pm (UTC)

Burnley scored the 3rd least amount of goals in the English Premier League last season – ahead of only Sheffield United and West Brom who were both relegated. The Clarets haven’t strengthened this summer, signing only defender Nathan Collins from 2nd tier side Stoke as a replacement for the outgoing Ben Gibson. Brighton massively underperformed last season – with their expected goals stats showing a predicted finished well above 16th place.

The price on Brighton to win seems generous all things considered. Burnley have a long, tough season ahead of them and will struggle against a free-flowing exciting Brighton team.

Aston Villa to win at odds of 2.3

Watford v Aston Villa
English Premier League
Saturday 2pm (UTC)

Premier League new-boys Watford host a fresh-looking Aston Villa side. The Villains sold their talisman Jack Grealish for £100 million, but re-invested well with the highly-rated trio Emi Buendia, Leon Bailey and Danny Ings coming in to give them good squad depth. Of the 3 promoted sides, Watford look the most likely to drop. They’re lacking firepower up front and should be exploited by their opponents’ new attacking players.

At over even money, Aston Villa are definitely a side to watch. Watford could be this season’s whipping boys, and you may not get a chance to bet against them at this sort of price often.

Draw at odds of 3.6

Lille v Nice
French Ligue 1
Saturday 3pm UTC

Christophe Galtier managed Lille to a surprise Ligue 1 title last season, but switched allegiances over the summer and moved to Nice. The south coast side are bankrolled by INEOS and made waves in the summer transfer window by signing 7 players. A disappointing 0-0 draw with Reims kicked off their 2021-22 campaign, but Galtier will be very keen to show his old employers what they’re missing out on.

Lille are a short price thanks to their reputation from last season, but will results still be as good without Galtier? Time will tell, but for now betting against them is the play.

If you fancy a treble on the 3 selected bets, the best price you can currently get is 21.86.
