Cons
- Bad odds
- Excessive Identity checks
- Turnover requirements
Roobet is a well-known and popular casino with a new sportsbook. Most of what they do well is ruined by poor odds and a 50% turnover requirement on deposits before you can withdraw your own money. That means if you deposit 100 m฿ you have to bet 50 m฿ before you can withdraw.
User experience
Apart from out of focus icons the desktop site looks good on a newer mac but we experienced bugs on an older PC.
Odds
50:50 equivalent: 1.83
Terrible odds.
Range of bets
Range of sports, leagues and events: Large. Lots of leagues available across a range of sports.
Range of bet types per event: There is a large range of different bet types per game.
Live betting
Roobet’s live betting is a stripped back version of other sportsbook’s offerings. The stats on display are basic with only goals and cards shown. There is no interactive pitch informing the bettor who has the ball or is attacking. It’s also lacking a cash out feature which other crypto sportsbooks offer.
Bets take a long time to process which is problematic but the odds changes are dealt with well and the markets don’t remain suspended for long periods.
Transactions
Unique deposit addresses: Not available.
Confirmations before bet: 1-3.
Withdrawal time: Anywhere from 10 minutes to 3 hours.
Player to player transfer: Available.
You need to wager 50% of your deposit before you’re able to withdraw. There’s no minimum deposit amount while the minimum withdrawal amount is $10. The support agent was unsure of the max withdrawal amount – “It changes as the team set it each day. It will be high though.”
Customer service
Customer service channels available: There is a live chat and a support email address hidden in the terms and conditions page.
Speed of replies: Live chat replies instantly 24/7. Our emails took about 12 hours to be replied to.
Accuracy of replies: Usually very good, support staff are well trained and knowledgeable, although there are exceptions. Explanations are usually detailed with links for further reading, if required.
