Betcoin Basic Information
This Sportsbook is over 10 years old. In a way, that made me view the platform in a positive light, leading me to create an account. Subsequently, I found that the platform meets the regulatory compliance requirement, as it's licensed by the Government of Curaçao.

Key Facts We Discovered About This Sportsbook
- Public chat for sports bettors to discuss 24/7
- Gamebtr software with a wide range of sports and betting markets
- Modern user interface that’s easy to interact with
- High-quality real-time animation for live games
- Impressive reputation based on existing bettor reviews
The live section is the default when you visit the website. You can switch to Prematch to bet on upcoming games.
An important detail to note here is that the bookie features over 100 sports. I’ve not found such an extensive count at many alternative sportsbooks.
Given these factors, I have given it a high 4-star rating out of 5. This rating reflects the platform’s user experience, regulatory compliance, payout speed, reputation, and sports options.
However, it also considers various other aspects that influenced my overall assessment, which you’ll learn about as you continue reading. To discover more about our rating system, check out our how we rate guide.

License and Security
I can confirm that the site is safe and legitimate and has been operating for 10+ years, however, it’s not only about the duration, the site also:
- Owns a license from the Government of Curaçao
- Runs on SSL technology to encrypt data. However, that’s pretty regular, and most online platforms have it
- Support 2FA, which I was able to activate via my profile settings
My User Experience on Mobile App and Website
At first, I wasn’t pleased that the sportsbook didn’t have an app, however, after testing the site on my iPhone, I must say it’s well-engineered.
From my first visit to when I wrote this review, I had no challenges navigating the mobile site. It has animation-like features, such as tabs and other elements that move stylishly as you switch sections. You’ll notice it easily when you check the menu.
However, the aspect of the mobile site that boosted my experience was the double bottom tab. It’s pretty standard now for sports sites to have a bottom tab on mobile, but I’m yet to find two anywhere else, besides this site.
The first features the Prematch and Live betting pages, while the second allows switching to general sections such as Sports, public chat, and main menu. Thanks to these features, my user experience on the mobile site was one for the record.
My Registration Experience
Creating my account took less than 3 minutes. If you call that fast, I agree, and here are the steps I took:
- Launch the website and click “Sign Up”
- Enter details by following the required fields in the form
- Provide referral code (if someone referred you to the site)
- Agree to T&C
- Confirm email and finalize
Betcoin is an exclusive sportsbook. In other words, you can’t use fiat methods on the website. While accessing the payment options, I found that it’s only possible to buy coins with fiat via MoonPay.
How many digital coins does it have? Well, I counted 10: BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC, USDT, DOGE, SHIB, XRP, DASH, and XMR. That’s quite an impressive range, and I was able to deposit and withdraw with any.
- What’s even more commendable is that the site doesn’t have deposit limits. I tried a deposit using BTC, and there was no minimum or maximum specified.
- However, this isn’t the case for withdrawals, as there’s a flat $5 minimum (equivalent in any coin you use), although there’s still no maximum limit set.
The operator doesn’t set a specific fee for transactions. Instead, here’s what the platform says: Please keep in mind that there will be a blockchain fee associated with the transfer that your transaction will need to cover.
Indeed, I had to pay network fees for some transactions, but the rate was minimal.
When I made my BTC deposit, I got the funds in my wallet instantly. There was no delay. Meanwhile, my first withdrawal was via USDT, and it took about 55 minutes to receive the credit.
To be fair, the site states that payouts can take up to 2 hours.
How Was My Deposit Process?
Check out the steps I followed below:
- Click wallet: I found a yellow wallet icon at the top of my dashboard, and I began by tapping it.
- Select the coin: From the 10 different coins the site features, I went for BTC.
- Copy deposit address: Next, I copied the Bitcoin wallet address generated on the next page. There’s also an option to use a QR code if you find that more convenient.
- Send the funds: For this step, I opened my e-wallet and transferred BTCs to the site deposit address.
- Confirm the payment: I finally switched to the website to check my deposit. My balance read the exact amount of BTC I sent, so all was good.
How Did I Place a Bet?
Moving on, it was time for me to make my first bet and the whole thing wasn’t difficult. This is how I went about it:
- Visit the sports section: From the left tab, I found the “Sports” option and clicked on it.
- Choose a category: The site features different sports, so I had to browse the categories and select one to bet on.
- Click on odds: While browsing the events in my selected sports category, I clicked on odds to make my bets. I made 5 picks, and they accumulated on the betslip.
- Place bet: I found the betslip at the top of the sports interface, clicked on it, and entered the amount I wanted to bet.
- Submit bet: First, I reviewed my picks, confirmed all was okay, and then tapped “Pay in” to submit the bet.
My Experience with Withdrawing Winnings
When it was time to withdraw, I still didn’t find the process challenging. If you get to this stage, however, there’s one crucial thing to do. You’ll have to visit your profile and set your primary currency.
I didn’t find the option to choose a coin on the payout page, so the sportsbook went with my default choice. Nevertheless, it wasn’t a hassle, and with that handled, here’s how I withdrew my winnings:
- Click wallet: Again, I tapped the yellow wallet icon at the top of my dashboard.
- Switch to withdraw: The default tab was a deposit, so I had to click on withdraw, which was third on the row.
- Enter wallet address and amount: The site provided two fields for me to enter my digital wallet address and the amount I wanted to cash out. This was pretty straightforward.
- Submit: At the end of the payout page is a blue “Submit” button. Therefore, after entering the necessary details and confirming all was good, I clicked “Submit” to finalize.
As mentioned, the withdrawal time is 0 to 2 hours, and I received mine in under 60 minutes. This is general for all digital coins.
Sports
Betting Market – Over 100 Sports
I was able to bet on a huge range of 100+ sports categories. If you’re wondering how it’s possible for the site to support such a high count, it’s because the operator uses Gamebetr software. Gamebetr provides 120+ sports and eSports options to sites that use its services.
With such a high count, I wasn’t surprised that the operator features all top sports and also options that I never knew were possible to bet on. I found the ever-present soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball, handball, ice hockey, and volleyball. Then, I was also able to bet on snowboarding, short track, rowing, surfing, archery, and chess — unbelievable, right?
Odds
While I applaud the range of sports, I believe the platform’s odds of competitiveness can improve.
If you bet on top sports like basketball and soccer, you get margins between 5% and 7.5% margins.
In other words, payouts when you win range from 92.5% to 95%. Since the margins are under 8%, I still rate them as fair. However, they’re not overly competitive, as I’ve reviewed some other sportsbooks with as low as 4% margins.
The odds are in decimal format by default, but the site also supports fractional and American. To adjust the format, I had to visit my account settings and select the Sportsbook tab.
I believe it’ll be more convenient if the site places the switch button directly on the sports interface.
Range of Bets
On a scale of 1 to 5, I’ll give its bet types a 6, if possible! If you think I’m exaggerating, you can visit the sportsbook and confirm firsthand.
The site supports as many as 300+ markets for top sports events.
I’ll illustrate with a popular soccer match I analyzed in the sportsbook. Here’s the rundown of the available bet types:
- Match: 59
- Totals: 55
- Handicaps: 22
- Halves: 106
- Minutes: 36
- Combos: 38
That’s 315 in total, and it’s clear that it covers all the main options. Interestingly, when I checked an NBA game, I found 363+ markets, which is even higher.
Live Play and Streaming
If you visit the site’s sportsbook section, it loads default to the live betting section. I was impressed by how the events are arranged per sport, and I was able to bet on 20 to 100+ markets depending on the stage of the game. The operator highlighted the top markets, which made things easier.
Unfortunately, the site doesn’t support live streaming, however, there’s a pretty impressive live animation for ongoing games you can follow while placing bets. Additionally, the site displays real-time statistics, which I found insightful.
eSports
Games – Over 15 Esports
The eSports section is just as impressive as that of traditional sports. If you’re interested in this section, you get over 15 games to bet on, which is better than some of the other eSports betting sites. I found all the top titles, including League of Legends, Dota 2, Counter-Strike, King of Glory, Valorant, Call of Duty, and eFootball.
Tournaments
If you visit the eSports page on the website, you’ll find the number on the “All eSports” icon. It boasts 430+ tournaments. From my research, here are the games with the most tournaments:
- League of Legends: 190+
- Valorant: 99+
- Counter-Strike: 65+
- Dota 2: 10+
With such a wide range, I didn’t miss vital eSports competitions.
Odds
From my calculations, eSports odds align with the standards in the industry. If you bet on 2-way markets, the average margin is 8% to 8.5%. Meanwhile, for 3-way markets, it’s up to 15%. When I adjusted the odds format via my settings, it also reflected on the eSports page.
Live Play and Streaming
On the website, I was able to bet on ongoing eSports games. Interestingly, there was a Stream section when I clicked on each event, and the links came directly from Twitch. So, you won’t miss any of the 2 live options if you join the sportsbook.
Bonuses and Promotions – What Can You Claim?
Based on my first-hand checks, Betcoin offers a welcome bonus for new players, as well as a few more crypto sportsbook bonuses I’ve listed below:
- 100% 1st deposit bonus up to $1000
- Lambo Moon Parlay Bonus
- Sports ROI Hall of Fame
- Random Chat and Social Media Bonuses
- VIP Rewards
1. 100% Match Deposit Bonus
Description: Make your first deposit and the operator will match it with 100% Up To $1,000.
How it works: Once you play through 3 times the total balance (deposit plus bonus), the funds are free to withdraw.
Note: Once you have made your deposit, contact support via ticket to have your deposit match added.
2. Lambo Moon Parlay
Description: Place parlays each win and earn a free bet.
How it works:
- Place an exceptional parlay bet.
- Win the bet.
- Get a free bet bonus.
Experience: I never got to claim this bonus since the site awards it randomly to only one player who wins an exceptional parlay bet weekly. Based on my checks, an exceptional bet implies one that’s difficult to win.
3. Sports ROI Hall of Fame
Description: Get up to $100 if you top the leaderboard.
How it works:
- Place relatively high bets to beat the current leader on the board.
- Take over the first position.
- Receive $100 in bonus funds.
Experience: Again, I didn’t land this bonus as it’s challenging. When I checked, the current leader had a 14047.34% bet, and it was outright impossible for me to beat it and rank number one.
4. Random Chat and Social Media Bonuses
Description: Enjoy random bonuses by following the operator’s community.
How it works:
- Frequently visit the operator’s public chat section.
- Follow the sportsbook on social media.
- Watch out for exclusive bonus offers.
Experience: This bonus is all about chance since it’s awarded randomly. I had to follow it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok to keep tabs. While I confirmed some bettors regularly get free bets and other perks, luck didn’t shine on me.
5. VIP Rewards + Level up Bonus
Description: Earn loyalty rewards.
How it works:
- Constantly place bets and gather loyalty points.
- Climb the VIP tiers for a higher status.
- Claim a 100% deposit Bonus every time you level up.
Experience: As a new bettor, I was in Bronze III Level, and there were 19 tiers to climb to reach the highest Master rank. Nevertheless, when I reached Bronze II I got lossback, betback, and rakeback bonuses.
Limits
The site sets quite affordable limits for placing bets on sports, so if you want to submit a bet, the lowest stake is $1, and the maximum is set at $15,000; while impressed with the maximum limit, I noted that the highest possible winning across all sports is $40,000.
If you have a question or inquiry, you can easily tap the Live Chat option on the menu. It’s my favorite channel, and you’ll appreciate it, too, if you want prompt responses.
When I launched the chat, I was connected to a bot. However, the bot features 2 options: Talk to a Human or Create a Support Ticket.
As I tapped the first, I was asked to enter my name and email before connecting to a human agent. If you go for the support ticket option, you’ll contact the site via email. So, expect replies from the support email.
Besides that, there’s also the Support Center with articles and guides.
What Do Player Reviews Say?
I explored the site’s reputation from reviews on Trustpilot and found that the site scores 4.2 out of 5.
It appears I’m not the only bettor who appreciates the site’s offerings. If you analyze feedback from other user reviews, you’ll confirm that they also hold the operator in high esteem.
Why does the platform have such a good reputation? As I read the user feedback, I noted that the main contributing factors were:
- Diverse selection of sports.
- Good UI.
- Fast payouts.
- Responsive and friendly customer staff.
Having tested the platform first-hand, I can confirm that the upsides are valid.
I compared this sportsbook head-to-head with some of the top crypto sports betting sites, and I believe it currently has no chance of winning. However, if it works on improving some of its weaknesses, it could potentially catch up.
Restricted Countries
Like any sportsbook, Betcoin aims to serve bettors from all around the world. If you’re familiar with online gaming regulations, you’ll know that it varies from country to country.
So, since the operator is regulated in Curaçao, it’s unavailable in locations where the jurisdiction’s laws don’t apply.
From my findings, while reviewing the platform’s terms of service, you can’t create an account if you’re in any of the below countries:
United States of America (including USA dependencies, military bases, and territories) | |||||
Ivory Coast | Cuba | Curaçao | France | Italy | Liberia |
Netherlands | North Korea | Portugal | Spain | Sudan | Syria |
Turkey | United Kingdom | Russia | Ukraine | Kazakhstan | Aruba |
Bonaire | St. Maarten | Australia | Belarus | Belgium |
Commitment to Responsible Gambling
As an expert bettor, I know the importance of staying safe. If the operator commits to responsible betting, I’m afraid it doesn’t emphasize it. The reason is that the website has no dedicated RG page, so I had to explore the Support Center to get details.
The site only supports cooling off/time breaks and self-exclusion. To activate any, you’ll have to message the customer support team.
I searched my profile and settings sections and found no options to implement limits on my deposits, bets, losses, and sessions.
Did I experience any issues while playing?
Yes, initially, I had an issue accessing the sports section. If you visit the site and check the sports tab, you’ll find 4 options:
- Gamebetr Sports
- Gamebetr Sports Live
- Betcoin.ag Sports
- eSports
That of eSports is quite clear, but I easily mistook the Sports sections. After adequately checking them, I found that both are distinct in interface and available options. For context, it was via the Gamebetr Sports page that I found the over 100 categories.
However, I was able to stake on any section, and the sportsbook processes the betslips the same way. So, you can also go with any you want if you find yourself at the same crossroads as I did. In my opinion, the operator should combine both to avoid confusing new users.
Final Verdict
Do I Recommend Betting at This Sportsbook? Yes, I do! If you need a cryptocurrency bookie where you can bet on any sport, this is a place for you.
Thanks to software from Gamebetr, the operator offers more than 100 sports categories and 300+ markets. It’s challenging to find an alternative site that beats such a count.
Although there are some decent sportsbook bonuses, you can also count on the VIP club to claim rewards. Additionally, you can use several third-party tools to control your gameplay if you don’t mind the inconvenience. All in all, the key drawbacks of the platform are manageable, and you can anticipate optimal experience.
What is the minimum deposit at this sportsbook?
There is no minimum deposit! Regardless of the coin you use, you can fund your account with any amount you want.
How long does the withdrawal take?
The site’s withdrawals have a standard processing time of 0 to 2 hours. However, from my first-hand experience, you can usually receive your money in a shorter time.
Can I place anonymous bets on Betcoin?
Yes, you can bet anonymously on the platform since it uses digital coins and blockchain technology. Note that you may need to complete KYC verification before withdrawing winnings.
